ABSTRACT
The
wedding ceremony is a traditional ceremony held to celebrate the wedding
event. Indonesia has
a diverse tribes and cultures, so do not
be surprised if we
often see traditional
ceremonies are very unique. The wedding ceremony is including traditional
ceremony should we guard, for out of it will
be reflected in our identity,
a family unification
could reflect a
country's unification. But
what caught my attention
is the traditional wedding Lampungnese and Javanese. Both
tribes have a significant
difference
and also have the similarities. It
would be a good idea to
pay attention
on
the comparisons and differences between traditional marriage of Lampungnese and Javanese. The differences are in the
process of before, during, and after the wedding. The similarity is Sungkeman after the wedding.

INTRODUCTION
Relationship between woman with a man, after
going through the process and
considerations, usually stabilized in a marital relationship, relationship and living together

Indonesia is rich in culture and customs.

traditional wedding ceremony
which is still running
today. The event was
so thick in tradition so do not be surprised if the marriage be quite sacred moment. In Indonesia, the
wedding ceremony is done in two ways, the traditional and the modern. Traditional
marriage ceremony was performed
according to the rules of local
custom. Indonesia has many tribes,
each of which has a tradition of the
wedding ceremony itself. In a mixed marriages,
the bride usually choose one custom, or
there are also times
when it is used in both traditional
separate event.

Marriage customs in Indonesia is very diverse, some large traditional wedding customs that are often used to formalize the wedding is traditional Javanese wedding, Minangkabau traditional wedding, custom wedding of Betawi, traditional chinese wedding, Sundanese traditional wedding, wedding of Lampungnese , modern weddings and many other wedding customs. But what caught my attention is the traditional wedding Lampungnese and Javanese. Both tribes have a significant difference and also have the similarities . DISCUSSION
Custom wedding
Lampung and Java
has a lot of difference. In Java, as well as
elsewhere, in principle, marriage occurs because
the decision of two people who fell in Love. That is a matter of principle. Although
there are marriages that occur because
parents arranged marriage that occurred in the past. As for the differences between
tribal wedding ceremonies
Java and Lampung as
follows.
In Java, where life is still strong family, a marriage would bring together two great families. Therefore, in accordance prevailing custom, love two beings who will tell their families that they have found a suitable partner and ideal to be used as a husband / wife. Traditionally, consideration of acceptance of a suitor based on seeds, ancestor and weight. Bibit means have a good background of family life. As well
as tribal marriage
customs Sungkeman Java, Lampung also has
sungkem procession. The

to the parents, the bride and groom
also do prostrations
to the elders were
present.
CONCLUSION
There are several difference and comparison between
traditional wedding of Lampungnese and Javanese. Both
tribes have a significant
difference
and also have the similarities. It
would be a good idea to
pay attention
on
the comparisons and differences between traditional marriage of Lampungnese and Javanese. The differences are in the
process of before, during, and after the wedding. The similarity is Sungkeman after the wedding.
