ABSTRACT

The wedding ceremony is a traditional ceremony held to celebrate the wedding event. Indonesia has a diverse tribes and cultures, so do not be surprised if we often see traditional ceremonies are very unique. The wedding ceremony is including traditional ceremony should we guard, for out of it will be reflected in our identity, a family unification could reflect a country's unification. But what caught my attention is the traditional wedding Lampungnese and Javanese. Both tribes have a significant difference and also have the similarities. It would be a good idea to pay attention on the comparisons and differences between traditional marriage of Lampungnese and Javanese.  The differences are in the process of before, during, and after the wedding. The similarity is Sungkeman after the wedding.

INTRODUCTION

Relationship between woman with a man, after going through the process and considerations, usually stabilized in a marital relationship, relationship and living together as husband and wife formally in terms of law, religion and customs. Indonesia is rich in culture and customs. No exception on a traditional wedding ceremony which is still running today. The event was so thick in tradition so do not be surprised if the marriage be quite sacred moment. In Indonesia, the wedding ceremony is done in two ways, the traditional and the modern. Traditional marriage ceremony was performed according to the rules of local custom. Indonesia has many tribes, each of which has a tradition of the wedding ceremony itself. In a mixed marriages, the bride usually choose one custom, or there are also times when it is used in both traditional separate event.

            According to Wikipedia, the wedding ceremony is a traditional ceremony held to celebrate the wedding event. Marriage as an important event for humans, it is necessary sacred and there needs to be remembered that the ceremony. Traditional marriage ceremony was performed according to the rules of local custom. Indonesia has many tribes, each of which has a tradition of the wedding ceremony itself. In a mixed marriages, the bride usually choose one custom, or there are also times when it is used in both traditional separate event.

            Marriage customs in Indonesia is very diverse, some large traditional wedding customs that are often used to formalize the wedding is traditional Javanese wedding, Minangkabau traditional wedding, custom wedding of Betawi, traditional chinese wedding, Sundanese traditional wedding, wedding of Lampungnese , modern weddings and many other wedding customs. But what caught my attention is the traditional wedding Lampungnese and Javanese. Both tribes have a significant difference and also have the similarities . To learn more about custom which is suitable for your wedding, then check out some of the writings about customs and ordinances wedding there on my writing. I hope to give understanding and provide benefits for those who read.

            As we know that Indonesia has a diverse tribes and cultures, so do not be surprised if we often see traditional ceremonies are very unique. The wedding ceremony is including traditional ceremony should we guard, for out of it will be reflected in our identity, a family unification could reflect a country's unification. It may not be a problem if you choose or married to one tribe, but what happens when you marry a person of different ethnic groups, different customs and habits, surely you must have sufficient knowledge about the ins and outs, and the procedures you are not a marriage partner? so that later you are not confused, it would be a good idea to listen to the comparisons and differences between traditional marriage of Lampungnese and Javanese.

DISCUSSION

Custom wedding Lampung and Java has a lot of difference. In Java, as well as elsewhere, in principle, marriage occurs because the decision of two people who fell in Love. That is a matter of principle. Although there are marriages that occur because parents arranged marriage that occurred in the past. As for the differences between tribal wedding ceremonies Java and Lampung as follows.

            In Java, where life is still strong family, a marriage would bring together two great families. Therefore, in accordance prevailing custom, love two beings who will tell their families that they have found a suitable partner and ideal to be used as a husband / wife. Traditionally, consideration of acceptance of a suitor based on seeds, ancestor and weight. Bibit means have a good background of family life. Bebet is that prospective bride, especially men, are able to meet the needs of both prospective bride’s family. Bobot that are qualified, good minded and educated enough.

            Before the wedding, usually after the two sides of parents or family approve of marriage, then do the next steps based on habit. The first is the proposal. Usually that is the candidate applying for the groom. Then there is a spray that is where the day before the wedding, the prospective bride purified by means of a bath.

            The ceremony which took place at night midodareni before Ijab in the next day, both parents and their groom groom, escorted by his close family, home visiting parents would be bride. One of the traditional ceremony held at the time Begawi (Cakak Pepadun) is Cangget Pilangan, which comes with a flunky girl wearing traditional clothes, where the grooms family envoy nyubuk or nindai girl in the customs hall. Then being explained  intent and purpose in coming is to woo the girl. Then do the "Bargaining (Menjeu)", where envoy groom came to the bride's house to discuss money honestly, dowry, what kind custom will be implemented, as well as determining the ceremony venue.

            On the wedding day, there are several types of ceremonies and serbo Ibal appropriate governance negotiations will be held in a certain way. In Javanese wedding, the bride did sungkem to both sides of parents. Sungkem is a form of sincere respect for parents and elders. Parents are touched receive homage in the form of paying respect of her son and at the same time also gives his blessing so that both leads a life in harmony, prosperity. Without saying a word, it is actually the parents of the bride had given her blessing symbolized of batik cloth worn the pattern truntum, meaning have the considerable fortune during life. Both parents also use a big belt whose name sindhur with pattern image with a curved-line curves, it means parents cautioned her two children so always be cautious, wise in this world to live a real life.

As well as tribal marriage customs Sungkeman Java, Lampung also has sungkem procession. The bride was brought to the place of the ceremony, then seated on a mattress investigate. Finished the ceremony, in addition to paying respect (prostration netang belt) to the parents, the bride and groom also do prostrations to the elders were present.

CONCLUSION

There are several difference and comparison between traditional wedding of Lampungnese and Javanese. Both tribes have a significant difference and also have the similarities. It would be a good idea to pay attention on the comparisons and differences between traditional marriage of Lampungnese and Javanese.  The differences are in the process of before, during, and after the wedding. The similarity is Sungkeman after the wedding.

The Phenomenon of Pornography Video Involving Student in Indonesia

Certainly most of people have negative thinking about pornography, and it related to sex.  Pornography video is contradicted with immoral being valid in Indonesia. Furthermore it involved  student on the video. That will give worst impacts to nation morality. The impacts are free sex and delinquency of juvenile that can break out morality, and lead to behavior corruption on student. Their parents have to give guidance and look after their children in order they will not be influenced by negative things. With this informations, i hope it will increase the conciousness of student and society in order to oversee and avoid creating and watching pornography video.

Introduction

What do you think if you hear “pornography”? Certainly you and most of people have negative thinking about pornography, and it related to sex.  W.F. Haung said that pornography is the use of women's representation (text, images, photos, videos and movies) in order to manipulate the desire of people who saw, in which the degradation process takes place in the status of women as "objects" of male sexual. Yeah, sometimes sex is needed for adult. But, how about   pornography involving student?

The most interest  thing  about being a student is that it is a time of life when devoting self entirely to something that really interests for. In their age, it is so easy to give them influence, because they still seek knowledges or informations what they have not know yet.  Unfortunately, there are many factors from the outside that influence mind set of student or the attitude and morality  through electronic media, such as video pornography. Currently, there was issue about pornography video which involved students in Indonesia which is involved students. There is a case in an elementary school that a boy rapping his friend after watching video porn.

Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) mentions, there were at least 84 reports of pornography and porn action until coming into this KPAI October 2013. Entirely performed by children from the students under age.  Pornography video is contradicted with morality being valid in Indonesia. Furthermore, it involve  students on the video. The videos have been spreaded out among school. That will give worst impact to nation morality. Many parties will be harmful because of the video. And on this article, I’m going to explain about the impact of pornography video involving students in Indonesia.

The Impacts of Pornography Video

Video porn contains sexual element that is taboo and inappropriate to be watched on. The outbreak of pornography video diffusion involving student can cause many adverse effects on many sides, both involving  and watching. Pornography has many negative.

1. Free Sex

 “That memories of experiences that occurred at times of emotional arousal (which could include sexual arousal) are imprinted on the brain by epinephrine, an adrenal gland hormone, and are difficult to erase.”

This may partly explain pornography's addicting effect. Viewing pornography can potentially condition some viewers to have recurring sexual fantasies during which they masturbate. Later they may be tempted to act out. Pornography often introduces children prematurely to sexual sensations that they are developmentally unprepared to contend with. This awareness of sexual sensation can be confusing and overstimulating for children or student.

 It means that when someone see something related to sexuality, it will be saved and memorize continuely in memory.  Pornography makes someone thought become full of sex. Thought of sex will dominate the unconsciousness. Sexual video is addictive so that when someone decides to stop watching, pictures or videos which have been seen in the past will survive until next years or forever. It is that makes someone is felt down to free sex.

Many under age students  were involved in pornographic and pornography. One of the cause is the frequency of watching videos or content from the internet that contain pornography.  For the example, there were a case in which a class 5 student of a elementary  school in Situbondo raping kindergarten student after he saw video porn in mobile phones of his friend. That is what triggered the free sex in teenagers even children. From the incident, it can be concluded that pornography video give big influence to the one who watch it.

2. Juvenile delinquency 

According to Neng Djubaedah says in her book entitled Stop Pornografi Selamatkan Moral Bangsa that pornography can damage our moral (2004:8). Pornography can causes behavior corruption on someone, particularly on student. Pornography changes and weaken control function. It makes people can not control their behavior. Pornography videos that depict rape and the dehumanization of females in sexual scenes constitute powerful but deforming tools of sex education. The dangers for student  give changes in attitude that are facilitated by pornography. That is all lead to delinquency of juvenile that can break out morality.

So, students should get good education from their school and also their environment. Particularly, their parents have to give guidance and look after their children in order they will not be influenced by negative things.

 CONCLUSION

Pornography video gives many impacts among teenager, especially for student. It can break out morality so that lead to behavior corruption on student. Those are all lead to free sex and delinquency of juvenile. The students should get good education from their school and also their environment. Particularly, their parents have to give guidance and look after their children in order they will not be influenced by negative things. With this informations, i hope it will increase the conciousness of student and society in order to oversee and avoid creating and watching pornography video.
